I want to give women a financial voice. A voice where women can make the best financial decisions for themselves. A voice that says it is okay to NOT give their money away to someone else. A voice that says they understand loan terms and credit card risk. A voice that says it is okay to pay yourself first and then buy extras for the kids. A voice that says you can save money and you are smart enough to invest it wisely.
Whether or not you grew up with money, everyone needs to learn how to be their own money advocate. Once you learn the basics of personal finance and money management, then you can decide on investments. If you do not learn about money now, then you may always face money challenges. Why spend the rest of your life stressing over money? Let’s change that!
I grew up in eastern Kentucky living in public housing and receiving free services. But I worked hard at school and wanted to do more. Like most folks, I had to work for the money that I have. I spent a lot of time learning about money, finance, and investing. Despite my three college degrees, I never took a personal finance or money management class, as well as millions of folks. However, money is the one subject that affects all of us after high school.
My goal is to help you learn about those personal finance and money matters so that you can make INFORMED decisions about money in your life. Money is a tool that you can use to achieve your goals.
I live with my family outside of Nashville, Tennessee. My family and I can be found creating adventures at the local parks, Nashville Zoo, church, and recreation center. I run, or move forward these days, and try to go to the gym a few days a week. You’ll likely find me in a sweatshirt, jeans, and running shoes around town.
I look forward to helping you build your financial freedom!
